Entered the Design That performs competition

I just entered the design that performs competition, by Samsung. I have some more ideas that I will work on, so I will try to enter those ideas in the competition too.

My poster proposal for Odense Sommer Jazz 2012 were selected out of 100+ proposals!
Here’s what they said about the design:

- Modern
- Elegant
- Bold choice of color
- Great in commercial perspectives
- Easy to recognize
- Captures the summer mood

I am really happy about this and I look forward to see it on the streets of Odense soon!

I also hear the graphics from the poster will be used on other medias as well!

Project work for Coloplast just started.

For the next months I will be working at Coloplast on a project based contract. I started today, and I am really exited about it!

1st. Prototype of Soundsnap has arrived.

The first prototype of Soundsnap has arrived, and as expected works really well. I am currently thinking of adding an extra 0.5 mm to the thickness, primarily because I want to be able to use it without fearing it will break. This is a 3D print however, so it might affect my judgement of the quality and sturdiness of the product. I printed the model at Shapeways. Excellent lead time, and nice quality of the product.

The prototype works in terms of fit (it fits snugly onto the iPad 2). I do wish that it would be even more fixed, which I suspect could be corrected with some small bumps or a material change to some kind of soft coat. However, it works with Smart Cover, and you can use the sync cable as well, while the Soundsnap is on. It also moves the sound to the front of the device, as it was intended

New Camera Lens for the Nikon D80!

I just received our new 35mm 1.8D lens for the Nikon D80 camera! Really looking forward to take it out for a spin.

F*** stands for Film, and it is the only movie magazine in Singapore.

They contacted me a while back – and now they are running a feature with some of my minimalist posters. They are calling me the minimalist

The issue is the november issue of 2011. And they are planning of using more of my posters in later magazines.
